This way, and due to the special composition added to the trays, the oxidation process, characterised by a change in appearance, is prevented and the useful life is prolonged, preserving it in a perfect state of texture and flavour; free at all times from any smells or flavours of synthetic materials (plastics or resins). Furthermore, unlike a traditional vacuum packing system, there is no need to use interlevel plastics to separate the contents, nor to subject the product to thermal processes to facilitate the separation of its slices, as is the normal custom of immersing the container in hot water before opening.
