Acorn-fed 100% Iberico Salchichon
The Señorio de Montanera Iberico Salchichon is made with lean ham and shoulder cuts and other carefully selected lean extras from acorn-fed 100% Iberian pigs. Both ground black pepper and whole peppercorns, as well as grated nutmeg, stand out in the seasoning.
When sliced, the Spanish Salchichon has a very deep purple-red colour, dotted with reddish white. Its exquisiteness and artisanal production give it a fresh aroma of curing and a mixture of specific nuances of the spices used. Its traditional flavour is reminiscent of slaughtering done in the best household abattoirs in Extremadura.
