Acorn-fed 100% Iberico Ham D.O.P. Dehesa de Extremadura
The Señorio de Montanera pure Iberian Ham is made from 100% Iberian pigs reared in our own dehesas and fed with acorns during the montanera fattening period. Those reared in Extremadura are also certified by the prestigious Protected Designation of Origin Dehesa de Extremadura, which is a seal of guarantee of its extraordinary quality.
Slender shank, black hoof (Pata Negra Ham), intense red lean pork; of particular note are the marbled fat and succulent lard. The high levels of oleic acid contributed by the acorn during the montanera fattening period ensure its succulence and palatability, excellent aroma, and intense exquisite flavour. A delight for the most demanding palates.

Our production methods and processes are purely artisanal and based on the trade passed down from generation to generation. A slow maturation for over four years at the mercy of the silence of the cellars and natural drying rooms refines the flavour and aroma, yielding a remarkably exquisite gourmet food.
