We love the dehesa, the true Mediterranean countryside, covered with holm and cork oaks. We breed pure Iberian pigs that roam completely freely on this land, eating only acorns and grasses. We know that we make the best Iberian products that there are.
We are traditional pig breeders who raise our own pure Iberian pigs in the natural environment of the dehesa, spending the autumn and winter on the montanera, a traditional period during which the pigs eat only natural pastures and acorns. This way we produce an animal with delicate but muscular limbs which will provide intensely flavoursome, aromatic iberico products, which are greatly in demand by some of the best chefs and restaurants in Spain and elsewhere.
The headquarters of our organization is located in Salvaleón (Badajoz), the area with the largest share of holm oak forests in all the Iberian Peninsula. It is also where we have our drying facilities and natural caves excavated in rock which enables the traditional preparation and production.
